I had a dream last night. In this dream, I was in my bedroom resting. The bedroom was filled with a white mist, like fog. As I continued to rest upon the bed, a voice spoke to me. This voice whispered in my ear and said Louis, I want you to go back, and you left something. As I laid there in total rest and relaxation, my mind began to race a hundred miles per hour. I was trying to figure out what I had left and where I had left it. Could it be that God is trying to tell me something? In this case, I feel that God was attempting to draw me closer to him so that I could receive clear instruction. As Christians, the spirit of God must lead us. You see, this dream really bothered me. I began to pray and ask God to reveal to me the meaning of this dream. Deep inside of my soul, I already knew the meaning. God was asking me to turn back to my first love. Its funny how after all this time of ministering to others, I realize that I needed to be placed onto the potters wheel once again. Well, through all the difficulties of my Christian life, I had to realize that unless I be converted and become as a little child at the feet of Jesus, with a submissive, obedient and teachable spirit, I would never achieve spiritual victory. By not yielding myself totally to God, I am not just hindering myself, but the lives of others that will be edified by the awesome testimonies that have been made manifested in my life. I challenge you today to ask God to speak to you. Ask Him to give you the courage to see and accept the things that are inside of you that need to be purged. Ask Him to help you see yourself for who you really are. After you have done that, true deliverance can come into your life. I want you to understand that deliverance is a process. You are delivered daily. Pay attention to the signs that God places in your path of life and listen with your spiritual ears to what the Spirit of God is saying to you. As your deliverance comes, you will no longer look at your past as being a bad dream. You will now look at your past and rejoice that you made it through spiritual boot camp and can now enjoy the fruit of your increase.
